Agreement to Terms

By downloading or using KetoMacroScan, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use the app.

Description of Service

KetoMacroScan is a mobile application that uses AI-powered photo analysis to estimate net carbs, fat, protein, and calories from meal photos, providing a Keto Fit score and confidence range to help users following a ketogenic diet make informed food choices.

Use License

Hatching Point grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use KetoMacroScan for personal, non-commercial purposes subject to these Terms.

• You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app
• You may not reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• You may not use the app for any unlawful purpose
• You may not transfer your license to anyone else

Subscriptions and Payments

KetoMacroScan offers premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions.

• Monthly Premium: $9.99/month with a 7-day free trial
• Yearly Premium: $59.99/year with a 7-day free trial
• Free tier includes 3 scans per day
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at purchase confirmation
• Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create within the app, including meal photos and notes. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide app functionality (including sending meal photos to our AI provider for macro analysis).

Third-Party AI Service

KetoMacroScan uses OpenAI as a third-party AI service provider. By using AI features in the app, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• When you use the AI scan feature, your meal photos, any notes you add, and related context are sent to OpenAI's servers to generate macro estimates.
• No personal information (name, email, Apple ID, payment details, location, or contacts) is sent to OpenAI.
• AI-generated content (macro estimates, Keto Fit scores) is provided for informational purposes and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for verifying AI outputs. This app is not a substitute for professional nutritional or medical advice.
• OpenAI's own terms of use and privacy policy apply to data processed by their service. OpenAI does not use API data to train models.
• AI features are optional. You may decline the data disclosure and continue using the app without AI functionality.

Health Disclaimer

KetoMacroScan provides AI-generated macro estimates for informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and should not be used as a substitute for professional dietary or medical advice. Always consult with a healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet. Macro estimates may vary in accuracy depending on photo quality, meal complexity, and portion visibility.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated macro estimates.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hatching Point shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including damages arising from reliance on AI-generated nutritional estimates.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
