Third-Party AI Service — Data Sharing Disclosure

PanicResetLog uses OpenAI's API ("OpenAI", located at openai.com) as a third-party artificial intelligence service provider to power AI features within the app. This section explains exactly what data is shared, how it is used, and your rights.

  • What data is sent to OpenAI: When you use an AI-powered feature, the text you enter (prompts, questions, or inputs) and any context required to generate a relevant response are transmitted to OpenAI's servers for processing. No other personal data (such as your name, email, Apple ID, location, photos, contacts, or payment information) is sent.
  • Purpose: Data is sent solely to generate AI responses for the specific feature you are using. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.
  • OpenAI's data handling: OpenAI does not use data submitted via its API to train or improve its models. API data may be retained by OpenAI for up to 30 days for trust and safety (abuse monitoring) purposes, after which it is deleted.   • Your consent: Before any data is sent to OpenAI, the app displays a clear disclosure screen explaining what data will be shared. You must agree before AI features become active. You may review this disclosure at any time in the app's Settings.
  • Your control: AI features are entirely optional. If you choose not to consent, the app continues to function without AI capabilities. No data is transmitted to OpenAI until you actively use an AI feature after providing consent.
  • Security: All data transmitted to OpenAI is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS encryption.

Data Storage and Security

  • Local Storage: Your data is stored locally on your device.
  • No Cloud Backup by Us: We do not maintain copies of your data on our servers.
  • Encryption: All data transmitted uses industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS).

Your Rights

  • Delete: Remove your data at any time
  • Cancel: Cancel subscription through App Store

Children's Privacy

PanicResetLog is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
