Hatching Point ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the QuickScanPDF mobile application.

Information We Collect

• Scan Photos and PDFs: The page images you capture or select and the PDFs you generate from them. These are stored locally on your device and never uploaded to our servers.
• Document Metadata: Names, page counts, file sizes, and export status of documents you create — stored locally on your device.
• Purchase Information: Subscription status (processed by Apple — we don't see payment details).

How We Use Your Information

• Run the on-device scan, clean, and PDF export pipeline
• Show your saved documents in the in-app library
• Process your subscription via the App Store
• Respond to support requests you initiate

Third-Party Services

• Apple: App Store handles purchases and subscriptions. Data is stored locally on your device using Apple frameworks.

On-Device Processing — No AI, No Cloud

QuickScanPDF runs every scan, clean-up, and PDF export entirely on your device using Apple's Vision and Core Image frameworks. We do not send your photos, scans, or PDFs to any server, AI service, or third party. There are no accounts to create, no uploads, and no syncing.

Data Storage and Security

• Local Storage: All scans, PDFs, and document metadata are stored locally on your device.
• No Cloud Backup by Us: We do not maintain copies of your data on our servers.
• App Store Communication: Subscription status is exchanged with Apple over industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS); we do not see payment details.

Your Rights

• Access: View all data stored in the app
• Delete: Remove your data at any time
• Cancel: Cancel subscription through App Store

Children's Privacy

QuickScanPDF is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
