Introduction

Hatching Point ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Shelf Shuffle mobile application.

Information We Collect

• Optional App Usage Data: If you choose to share usage, PostHog receives anonymous onboarding steps, puzzle workflow outcomes, and subscription-flow events, together with app version and platform. Usage events exclude level content, item names, scores, move counts, stars, your messages, and transaction identifiers.
• Support: If you send feedback, we receive the message, category, optional reply email, and app information needed to respond. Feedback is separate from optional product analytics.
• Purchase Information: Subscription status (processed by Apple, we don't see payment details)

How We Use Your Information

• Provide and improve app functionality
• Process your subscription
• Respond to support requests
• Analyze usage to improve features

Third-Party Services

• Apple: App Store handles purchases and subscriptions. Data is stored locally on your device using Apple frameworks.
• PostHog: Processes optional anonymous product analytics only after you choose Share usage & continue. We do not use session replay, screen recording, or automatic capture of screen contents.
• Google AdMob: Supports banner advertising. Its SDK may process IP-derived general location, device identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, analytics and reliability. Google privacy messages and Ad Privacy Choices apply where required.
• Meta and TikTok: Advertising integrations may receive permitted app activity and purchase signals to measure advertising. Cross-company tracking is controlled separately by Apple’s tracking permission; declining it does not prevent gameplay.

Data Storage and Security

• Local Storage: Puzzle progress and play preferences are stored on your device.
• Service Data: Optional analytics, advertising-service data, and feedback are processed by the services described above; this is not a cloud backup of your puzzle progress.
• Encryption: All data transmitted uses industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS).

Your Rights

• Access: View all data stored in the app
• Delete: Remove your data at any time
• Cancel: Cancel subscription through App Store
• Optional Usage: Choose Continue without sharing to proceed without product analytics. You can change or withdraw this choice in Settings → Privacy choices, also accessible from the subscription screen without purchasing. Withdrawal stops future optional usage collection; it does not erase previously processed anonymous aggregates.
• Advertising: Manage Apple tracking permission in iOS Settings. Where required, use Ad Privacy Choices in the app for Google advertising preferences. These choices are separate from usage analytics.

Children's Privacy

Shelf Shuffle is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
