Hatching Point ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Sparqa mobile application.

Information We Collect

• AI-Generated Content: Text prompts and topics you enter when using AI-powered idea generation features, and the AI-generated responses
• Profile Information: Name and email (optional) that you provide during setup
• App Usage Data: How you interact with app features, stored locally on your device
• Purchase Information: Subscription status (processed by Apple, we do not see your payment details)

Third-Party AI Data Sharing

Sparqa uses OpenAI's API to power its AI idea generation features. When you use the idea generation feature, the following applies:

• What is sent: Only the text prompts and topics you type are transmitted to OpenAI. No personal information, device identifiers, or usage history is included in the request.
• Who receives it: OpenAI, Inc. (openai.com) processes your prompts through their API.
• How it is used: Per OpenAI's API data usage policy, data submitted through the API is not used to train their models. Data is processed solely to generate a response.
• Encryption: All data transmitted to OpenAI is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS.
• Consent: The app requests your explicit consent before any data is sent to OpenAI. You can withdraw this consent at any time from Settings > AI Data & Privacy within the app.

How We Use Your Information

• Provide and improve app functionality, including AI-powered idea generation
• Process your subscription
• Respond to support requests

• Apple: App Store handles purchases and subscriptions. Data is stored locally on your device using Apple frameworks.

Data Storage and Security

• Local Storage: Your data is stored locally on your device.
• No Cloud Backup by Us: We do not maintain copies of your data on our servers.
• Encryption: All data transmitted uses industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS).

Your Rights

• Consent: Withdraw AI data sharing consent at any time from Settings > AI Data & Privacy
• Access: View all data stored in the app
• Delete: Remove your data at any time through the Settings menu
• Cancel: Cancel subscription through App Store
• Uninstall: Removing the app deletes all locally stored data

Children's Privacy

Sparqa is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
