Introduction

Hatching Point LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates Travel Agent AI (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect a user ID, your email address, and any optional profile name you provide. You may also sign in using Sign in with Apple, in which case we receive the information you authorize Apple to share.

Information You Provide

• Trips, bookings, dates, locations, costs, notes, preferences, and confirmation details
• Photos, screenshots, attachments, or pasted text you choose to import or save
• Collaborator email addresses you choose to invite
• Feedback content and optional contact email you choose to submit

Service and Diagnostic Information

• AI feature, usage-count, and entitlement records associated with your signed-in account
• Purchase and subscription status used to provide Pro access
• Device model, operating-system version, and locale when you submit feedback
• A rolling diagnostic error history stored locally on your device

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the App's core functionality
• To extract and organize booking information from imported confirmations using AI
• To track and summarize trip costs
• To generate AI-powered trip summaries and insights
• To enable trip collaboration features (Pro subscribers)
• To back up local trips through iCloud and synchronize trips you choose to share
• To enforce subscription entitlements, Smart Import allowances, and service safety limits
• To respond to feedback you choose to submit
• To communicate with you about your account or the App

Data Storage and Cloud Sync

Local trip data is stored on your device and backed up through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. CloudKit data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

If you create a Travel Agent AI account, Supabase stores the account information needed for sign-in, subscription entitlement records, and the trips and attachments you choose to share with collaborators. Merely signing in does not copy every local-only trip to Supabase. Network traffic is encrypted in transit; our providers also describe encryption-at-rest protections in their own policies.

Third-Party Services

OpenAI

We use OpenAI's API for Smart Import, packing support, and trip insights. After you accept the in-app AI disclosure, images, text, and relevant trip context you select are sent through our authenticated service to OpenAI for processing. Confirmation images and text can contain personal information, so review what you submit. OpenAI's processing is governed by its privacy and data-use terms.

Supabase

We use Supabase for authentication, shared-trip data and attachments, collaboration, subscription entitlement verification, and AI request metering. Supabase's privacy practices apply to data it processes.

Apple Services

The App uses Apple's StoreKit for subscription management and CloudKit for automatic iCloud backup of your trip data. Apple's privacy practices apply to any data they collect through these services.

Other Providers

Feedback you choose to submit is sent to our Convex support backend. Destination terms or approximate coordinates may be sent to weather and image providers when you request those features. Their privacy practices apply to the information they process.

Trip Collaboration

Pro subscribers can share trips with other users. When you share a trip, the invited user can view and edit the trip's itinerary, costs, and other details. You control who has access to your shared trips and can revoke access at any time.

Data Retention

We retain account and shared-trip information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Delete Device Data removes local trips and cached shared trips from that device, but does not delete your online account. Delete Account removes your account and trips you own from our active online services and clears local app data. Items you contributed to a shared trip owned by someone else may remain with that trip after the creator reference is removed. Delete those items before deleting your account if you do not want them to remain. Provider backups may be retained for limited periods under provider policies.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Data portability

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
