1. Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of Widget Workshop, provided by Hatching Point LLC (“Hatching Point,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. Apple’s applicable App Store terms and standard end-user license agreement also apply. If those terms conflict with these terms regarding your App Store purchase or Apple’s services, Apple’s terms control for that subject.
2. What Widget Workshop provides
Widget Workshop lets you create personal Countdown, Counter, and Habit trackers, save them locally, and make them available as Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. Supported widgets may include interactive controls. Countdowns may optionally use local reminders and a Live Activity on supported devices.
3. One-time purchase
Widget Workshop is a paid download with no recurring Widget Workshop subscription. Apple displays and processes the applicable one-time storefront price, taxes, refunds, and purchase availability. Prices and refund eligibility are determined through the App Store. Hatching Point does not directly process App Store payments or refunds.
4. License and acceptable use
Subject to these terms and Apple’s rules, Hatching Point grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Widget Workshop on supported Apple devices associated with your App Store purchase. You may not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, circumvent technical protections, use it unlawfully, or copy, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits.
5. Your content and device data
You retain ownership of the tracker names, notes, values, and other content you enter. You are responsible for that content and for maintaining appropriate device backups. Tracker data is stored locally and can be lost if you delete it, remove the app, lose access to your device, or encounter a device or operating-system failure.
6. Reminders, widgets, and Live Activities
Widget updates, interactive controls, notifications, and Live Activities depend on your device, permissions, operating-system behavior, battery conditions, and Apple frameworks. Delivery times and update frequency are not guaranteed. Do not use Widget Workshop for emergency alerts, medication timing, safety-critical deadlines, or any purpose where a late, missing, or inaccurate display could cause harm.
7. Availability and changes
We may improve, modify, or discontinue features as the app and Apple platforms evolve. We do not promise that every feature will remain compatible with every device or future operating-system version. When reasonable, updates will preserve the app’s core purpose as a focused personal tracker utility.
8. Intellectual property
Widget Workshop, including its software, design, branding, and provided content, is owned by Hatching Point or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of the app or its intellectual property to you.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Widget Workshop is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or the preservation of local data. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hatching Point will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, use, or opportunity arising from the app. Hatching Point’s total liability for claims relating to Widget Workshop will not exceed the amount you paid for the app. Applicable consumer law may provide rights that cannot be limited by these terms.
11. Termination and changes to these terms
You may stop using Widget Workshop at any time. Your license ends if you materially breach these terms. We may update these terms when the app, law, or platform requirements change; the date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer law applies. Questions can be sent to inquiry@hatchingpoint.com.
