How do I import a booking?
Open a trip and tap "Add Booking or Note." Take a photo, choose one or more images, or paste confirmation text. Smart Import structures key details such as dates, times, confirmation numbers, locations, and costs for you to review before saving.
What types of bookings can I import?
Travel Agent AI can extract information from most travel confirmations including:
- Flight confirmations
- Hotel reservations
- Car rental bookings
- Restaurant reservations
- Activity and tour bookings
- Event tickets
How do I track trip costs?
Trip costs are automatically extracted from imported booking confirmations when possible. You can also manually add costs for any expenses. View your cost summary in the Costs tab to see total spending. Pro unlocks the complete category breakdown and budget targets.
What's included in the free version?
The free version includes:
- Core trip planning and manual booking entry
- 2 Smart Imports per calendar month
- Basic trip cost tracking
- Deterministic trip alerts for issues such as overlaps and tight connections
- Offline access
- iCloud backup across your Apple devices
What do I get with Pro?
Travel Agent AI Pro ($3.99/month or $29.99/year) includes everything in Free, plus:
- Expanded Smart Import access, subject to reasonable service safety limits
- AI trip insights and packing support
- Trip collaboration — share trips with travel companions in real time
- Complete cost category breakdowns and budget targets
Eligible customers may see a 7-day introductory trial. Apple shows eligibility, price, duration, and renewal terms before purchase; not every customer is eligible.
How does trip collaboration work?
Pro subscribers can share trips with travel companions. Tap the share button on any trip to invite others by email. Collaborators can view and edit the trip's itinerary, costs, and details. Everyone stays in sync in real time.
Will my trips survive if I get a new phone?
Local trips are backed up through your personal iCloud account. When iCloud and CloudKit are available, installing the app on a device signed in to the same Apple ID allows those records to synchronize. Shared trips additionally require the same Travel Agent AI account and an internet connection.
Subscription & Billing
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. To cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Find Travel Agent AI and tap it
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
How do I restore my purchase?
If you've reinstalled the app or are using a new device:
- Open Travel Agent AI
- Go to Settings
- Tap "Restore Purchases"
Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find your Travel Agent AI purchase
- Select "Request a refund"
Troubleshooting
The AI isn't extracting my booking correctly
Try these tips for better extraction:
- Ensure the image is clear and well-lit
- Capture the entire confirmation, not just part of it
- Avoid images with glare or reflections
- Screenshots generally work better than photos of screens
You can always manually edit any extracted information after import.
The app is running slowly
Try these steps:
- Close and reopen the app
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection (required for AI features and sync)
- Update to the latest version of the app
- Restart your device
My data isn't syncing
If a shared trip isn't syncing:
- Check your internet connection
- Try signing out and back in
- Ensure you're signed in with the same account on all devices
Local-only trips use your personal iCloud account and do not require a Travel Agent AI account. Trips you choose to share use the signed-in Travel Agent AI account and Supabase collaboration service.
Privacy & Data
How is my data protected?
Local trips use on-device storage and your personal iCloud account. Supabase stores account data and trips or attachments you choose to share. When you accept the AI disclosure and use an AI feature, the images, text, and relevant trip context you select are sent to our AI provider for processing. We don't sell your personal information. How do I delete my data?
You can delete individual trips in the app. Delete Device Data removes local trips and cached shared trips from that device but does not delete your online account. Delete Account permanently removes your account and trips you own from our active online service, then clears local app data. Content you added to a shared trip owned by someone else may remain after your creator reference is removed; remove it first if you do not want it to remain.
