How do I import a booking?

Open a trip and tap the camera button. Take a photo or select an image of your booking confirmation. Our AI will automatically extract the key details like dates, times, confirmation numbers, locations, and costs.

What types of bookings can I import?

Travel Agent AI can extract information from most travel confirmations including:

  • Flight confirmations
  • Hotel reservations
  • Car rental bookings
  • Restaurant reservations
  • Activity and tour bookings
  • Event tickets

How do I track trip costs?

Trip costs are automatically extracted from imported booking confirmations when possible. You can also manually add costs for any expenses. View your cost summary in the Costs tab to see total spending and category breakdowns.

What's included in the free version?

The free version includes:

  • 1 trip
  • 1 AI scan per month
  • Up to 10 cost items

What do I get with Pro?

Can I buy more AI scans?

Yes! If you run out of monthly scans, you can purchase AI scan credit packs:

  • 5 AI Scans: $0.99

Purchased credits never expire and are used after your monthly scans.

How does trip collaboration work?

Pro+ subscribers can share trips with travel companions. Tap the share button on any trip to invite others by email. Collaborators can view and edit the trip's itinerary, costs, and details. Everyone stays in sync in real-time.

Subscription & Billing

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. To cancel:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Find Travel Agent AI and tap it
  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

How do I restore my purchase?

If you've reinstalled the app or are using a new device:

  1. Open Travel Agent AI
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap "Restore Purchases"

Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund:

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Find your Travel Agent AI purchase
  4. Select "Request a refund"

Troubleshooting

The AI isn't extracting my booking correctly

Try these tips for better extraction:

  • Ensure the image is clear and well-lit
  • Capture the entire confirmation, not just part of it
  • Avoid images with glare or reflections
  • Screenshots generally work better than photos of screens

You can always manually edit any extracted information after import.

The app is running slowly

Try these steps:

  • Close and reopen the app
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection (required for AI features and sync)
  • Update to the latest version of the app
  • Restart your device

My data isn't syncing

If you're signed in and your data isn't syncing:

  • Check your internet connection
  • Try signing out and back in
  • Ensure you're signed in with the same account on all devices

Note: Data only syncs when you're signed in. If using the app without an account, data is stored locally on your device only.

Privacy & Data

How is my data protected?

When signed in, your trip data is stored securely in the cloud with encryption in transit and at rest. When you use AI features, only the necessary trip information is sent to our AI provider for processing. We don't sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual trips from within the app. To delete all data and your account, go to Settings and use the account deletion option. If you have any concerns about data deletion, contact us at support@hatchingpoint.com.
