Create the tracker
Open Widget Workshop, choose Countdown, Counter, or Habit, add the essentials, preview, and save.
Add it to the Home Screen
Touch and hold the Home Screen, tap Add Widget, find Widget Workshop, choose a size, and select your tracker.
Add it to the Lock Screen
Customize your Lock Screen, tap the widget area, choose Widget Workshop, then select the saved tracker.
Edit an existing tracker
Open the tracker from Widget Workshop or tap its widget to return to the matching item, then save your changes.
The widget is blank or shows the wrong tracker
- Open Widget Workshop once after installing or updating it.
- Confirm the tracker still appears in the app.
- Touch and hold the widget, choose Edit Widget, and select the intended tracker.
- If needed, remove the widget, restart the iPhone, and add it again.
Interactive controls are not updating
Counter and Habit controls require a supported iOS version and widget family. Tap once, allow a moment for iOS to refresh, and open Widget Workshop to confirm the value. If it remains unchanged, restart the app and device, then send us the device model, iOS version, tracker type, and widget size.
Countdown reminder did not arrive
Open iOS Settings, find Widget Workshop, and confirm Notifications are allowed. Also confirm that the countdown target is still in the future and the reminder time occurs before it. Focus modes and notification summaries may delay presentation. Widget Workshop reminders are not intended for safety-critical timing.
Live Activity is unavailable
Live Activities require a supported iPhone and iOS version and must be allowed in system settings. The option is available for saved countdowns. Dynamic Island presentation is limited to compatible iPhone models; other supported devices can show the activity on the Lock Screen.
Purchase, refund, and reinstall questions
Widget Workshop is a one-time App Store purchase with no recurring subscription. Apple manages the transaction, purchase history, family eligibility, redownloads, and refund decisions. Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase to redownload it. Refund requests can be started at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Privacy and deleting data
Widget Workshop does not require an account. Tracker data stays on your device and is shared locally with the widget extension. Delete individual trackers—or all trackers—from the app. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
