Agreement and use
Hatching Point provides Collab. By using Collab, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for its musician community and collaboration features, subject to these terms and applicable law.
Collab is not directed to children under 13. You must meet the age and consent requirements that apply where you live. Keep your sign-in details secure and do not impersonate another person.
Your content and collaborators
You retain ownership of the music, recordings, photos, text and other content you submit. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share that content. You grant Hatching Point a limited license to host, process, reproduce and display your content as needed to provide the features you choose, including sharing it with its intended audience and handling safety reports. This does not transfer ownership of your work.
Publishing a sample or profile image makes it accessible through its media link. Private conversations are stored by the service and are not end-to-end encrypted. Recipients may copy or download content. See the privacy policy for details.
Collaborators are responsible for agreeing on payment, credits, licenses, ownership, deadlines and other project terms. Collab does not negotiate these agreements, process collaboration payments, or guarantee another person's identity, availability or performance.
Community rules
Do not use Collab for harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation, unlawful content, impersonation, scams, spam, infringement of others' rights or attempts to compromise the service. Do not upload content you lack permission to share or disclose another person's private information without authority.
Use content options to report an artist, post, opportunity or conversation, and block people you do not want to interact with. Hatching Point may review reported content, remove content or restrict accounts to address abuse, security concerns or violations. Contact inquiry@hatchingpoint.com with a report, rights concern or moderation question. Do not include passwords or verification codes.
Payments
The current version of Collab has no in-app subscriptions or purchases. Any future paid offering will disclose its price and terms before purchase. Agreements or payments between collaborators are their responsibility.
Account closure and availability
You may stop using Collab and request account deletion in Settings. Deletion revokes access and starts removal of account-owned community data. Copies held by other people and provider backups are subject to the limits described in the privacy policy.
The service may change or experience interruptions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, it is provided as is without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes and will communicate material changes as appropriate. The date above identifies the current version.
