How accurate are the macro estimates?

KetoMacroScan uses AI to provide best-effort estimates. Accuracy depends on photo clarity, meal complexity, and portion visibility. For best results, photograph your full plate from above and add notes about portion sizes and ingredients. Every scan includes a confidence range so you know when to trust the estimate.

How do I get more scans?

Free users get 3 scans per day. Subscribe to KetoMacroScan Premium for unlimited scans. Monthly ($9.99/mo) and yearly ($59.99/yr) plans are available, both with a 7-day free trial.

Is my data shared with anyone?

When you scan a meal, your photo and any notes are sent to OpenAI for analysis. No personal information (name, email, Apple ID) is ever shared. Your meal history and preferences are stored locally on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → KetoMacroScan and tap Cancel. You'll continue to have access until the end of your billing period.

How do I delete my data?

In the app, go to Settings → Data → Delete All Data. This permanently removes all meal history and preferences from your device. Uninstalling the app also removes all locally stored data.

Can I revoke AI data consent?

Yes. Go to Settings → AI Data Usage → Revoke AI Data Consent. AI scan features will be disabled until you re-consent. No data will be sent to OpenAI after revoking.
